The professionally designed and manufactured Xplorer DLX model is a well-built semi-off-road camper trailer suitable for many young families. The Xplorer DLX models are equivalent to what some may call cheaper 'off-road' models of other brands.

The Xplorer DLX is easy to tow and control both on-road and light off-roading. It features eye-to-eye seven-leaf rebound shackle springs with bushed spring hangers and greaseable bolts (not the more common cheap slipper springs found on other similar packages).

The DLX also features 500mm-high sides, a long extended drawbar for easy turning and reversing control, triple drawbar, upright spare wheel holder, all brand new 235/75R15 light truck tyres on 15-inch white steel rims, 8-inch solid rubber swing up jockey wheel, lockable jerry can holders (2) and lockable gas bottle holder with adjustable catch, submersible LED tail lights, AL-KO wind-down supporting legs, and a gas strut lifting system on the bed base for easy packing.

The Xplorer DLX comes with additional features such as a 1200x800x500mm weatherproof lockable toolbox, stainless steel tailgate kitchen with flip-out bench and tap, underbody water tank with side-mount lockable water filler and hand pump plus the carpeted trailer compartment.

XTRAIL produce high-quality camper trailers in Kilsyth South VIC and do not try to save costs by reducing the side-step size, number of jerry can and gas bottle holders, or use cheaper slipper springs that keep rubbing the chassis while travelling. In fact, our XPLORER DLX has many off-road features built in as standard, which makes them equivalent or even better than some claimed off-road camper trailers. All gaps are sealed up with Sikaflex to avoid water getting in and forming rust. The trailer box is also fully dust and water sealed.
